Austin Radiological Association, ARA, is dedicated to providing the highest quality imaging services to referring physicians and patients in the Central Texas Region. ARA is currently seeking experienced Patient Account Representatives to join our growing team!
The Primary Responsibilities of this position include:
Working with patient accounts specifically those with managed care and government payers
Documenting all actions taken related to the patient’s account in order to maintain a permanent, accurate record in the account
Responding to any related correspondence within the performance standards in place
Maintaining quality customer service and patient confidentiality at all times
The Preferred Candidate will have:
One year of experience working in patient accounting
Knowledge of the medical practice including ICD9 and CPT coding, medical terminology, managed care contracting and government programs reimbursement
Previous experience working on medical management software preferred
